This series of photographs was created during talent auditions at the Secondary Vocational School of Commerce, Applied Arts, and Design in Pilsen (Nerudova 33).
For the photography portion of the exams, we were allowed to bring our own objects, but their number and size were limited. I brought a box of sugar cubes, which I arranged on a plate in a regular grid and then poured water over them. The cubes gradually dissolved, crumbled, and fell randomly.
